US AIRWAYS: Mechanics reach deal
Written on March 15, 2008
The mechanics union at US Airways reached a contract agreement with the airline on Wednesday that includes pensions and 10 percent raises in the first year.
The contract still must be ratified by the airline’s 3,300 International Association of Machinists members.
The agreement would link contracts for mechanics from America West Airlines and the former US Airways, which combined in September 2005 faxless payday loans.
