UMSL names director of institute

Steve Burrows has been named director of the International Business Institute at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. Most recently, Burrows was chief executive and president of Anheuser-Busch International-Asia.

The International Business Institute was formed in 2000 within the College of Business Administration at UMSL, with the goal of continuing to strengthen the international undergraduate and graduate degree programs.

Prior to his responsibilities in the international division of Anheuser-Busch Cos instant cash advance., Burrows held senior executive positions in sales and marketing. He began working for the company in 1979 as a sales representative.

He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin in Whitewater and a master’s degree in business administration from Lindenwood College in St. Charles.
